Spin-offs

Since the Metal Gear Solid series was such a sucess, the series has been a target of many spin-offs, most of which are non-canonical or a diffierent type of game. One of the more popular instances of a Metal Gear spin-off is the Metal Gear Ac!d franchise, which is a tactical game where you use in-game cards to control Snake and play the game. But some of these games are closer to the series like less heard of spin-off, Snake’s Revenge, a somewhat rare game for the NES, this game is very similar to the original 1987 Metal Gear that it is a sequel of. Hideo Kojima, creator of the epic franchise, announced that after MGS4 he would leave MGS5 to a younger generation, but would continue to make spin-offs.
